Is the Lexus CT200h a technological breakthrough, or just another hybrid to help cut fleet CO2 figures? The What Car? Reader Test Team gives its verdict.

Developed from the LF-Ch concept car, the CT200h is the first hybrid in its class, emitting just 95g/km of CO2 and achieving an average of 70mpg. Performance isn't sacrificed, however, as with 134bhp it should manage 0-60mph in 10 seconds.
