New offers from Vauxhall mean that the Vauxhall Combo Electric and Vivaro Electric vans now cost the same to finance or lease per month as their diesel counterparts.

Announced today (14 March), the offers apply to conditional sale, business contract hire and business finance lease sales. As part of Vauxhall’s LCV ‘Professional Days’ event, it’s also offering a £1000 saving on all models, plus a free Ohme home charger, until 31 May.

For example, during the event, business customers can lease a top-spec Vauxhall Combo Electric for £305 per month – the same as the diesel version on a 36-month, 10,000 miles contract with six months’ initial rental. On those terms, buyers could alternatively opt for a Vauxhall Vivaro Electric for £335 per month – also the same as its diesel counterpart.

Vauxhall also offers price parity on its Astra and Frontera passenger cars, in an attempt to make the switch to electric more accessible.

Eurig Druce, Vauxhall Managing Director & Stellantis UK Group Managing Director, said: “We’re pleased to now be able to make our award-winning electric vans even more attainable with transactional price parity between electric and diesel versions of Combo and Vivaro.

“As one of the first manufacturers to provide a fully electric version of every model in our van line-up, and with our electric van manufacturing plant in Ellesmere Port, we are committed to electrifying Britain’s businesses.”
