Large SUV

We consider a large SUV as being longer than 4.5 metres. Because of their size, and more often than not, their premium positioning, they’re not usually cheap to buy or lease. However, you can expect a roomy interior, lots of standard equipment and a cosseting driving experience.

A few models in this class are two-wheel drive, but the vast majority have four-wheel drive for at least a modicum of off-road ability. You’re likely to find a wide range of fuel types, too, and this is one of the comparatively few parts of the market where diesels sell in reasonable numbers.
