Drivers are paying 21% more to run their cars than just a year ago, new research has found.

A Sainsbury's Finance study found that that the average motorist has suffered a 537 (21.1%) increase to their annual motoring budget.

On average we're paying 320.69 more on fuel, while insurance costs have risen by 30.7%.
