A 16-hour charge gives 12 minutes of suction. However, given its power, that should be enough to get you round even the dirtiest car. The swivel nozzle also extends, and that versatility helps you get into some tight spots. However, the tightest corners do prove frustratingly beyond its reach, as does any dirt that is ingrained in the carpet.

Ease of operation

There's no doubt that the Pivot is easy to charge and operate, and the practicality of its swivelling nozzle keeps things simple. However, it is not easy to manoeuvre into tight spaces, and is heavy to handle when you are bent double trying to stretch into the furthest recesses of your car.
