BMW X4 concept car pictures leak

Pictures of a BMW X4 concept car have been leaked on the internet, showing what the coupe-like SUV could look like.

BMW bosses have previously indicated that they will make a new SUV to sit above the X3 in the company's range.

It would be likely to be related to the X3 in the same way that the X6 is related to the X5.

There are no other details available about the new car, but it appears to have the same swooping rear bootline as the larger X6 off-roader.

Like the X3, it is likely to come with a selection of diesel engines. A final production car is expected to go on sale in 2014.
