Each category award-winner was photographed at a seaside location by What Car?'s chief photographer John Bradshaw.

Visiting locations as diverse as Weston-Super-Mare, Newcastle, Cornwall, Weymouth, Brighton and Wales, Bradshaw drove 1200 miles in a week.

Pictured here is the photo of the overall Car of the Year winner, the Jaguar XF, which was photographed in Lyme Regis after being winched by a crane onto a sea wall.
