The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is a sleek saloon with standout looks, and you could save a packet on one with our deals...

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is a prime indication that unique car design is still alive and well, with its sleek, slippery silhouette and distinctive pixel headlights. But looks aren’t everything – the electric Ioniq 6 also benefits from some buyer-friendly features like super-fast charging speeds and a long warranty.
So, if that all sounds good to you, then you’ll be pleased to know that you can save a packet on a new Ioniq 6 with our free online New Car Deals service.
- Save £7930 on a new Hyundai Ioniq 6 77.4kWh Ultimate Auto AWD
- Save £15,560 on a new Hyundai Ioniq 6 77.4kWh Premium Auto
Only one battery option is available with the Ioniq 6 – a 74kWh (usable capacity) unit – but you do get the choice of either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The entry-level rear-wheel-drive version pumps out 225bhp from its electric motor, and has a respectable 0-62mph time of 7.4sec. Compared with the AWD version, it has a longer official range of 338 miles.
You shouldn’t have issues getting comfortable behind the wheel of the Ioniq 6, either. It offers a supple ride, with well-contained body lean, light steering and plenty of grip. Road noise is minimal, and cruising is much quieter than in a Tesla Model 3 or BYD Seal. The larger 20in wheels and firm suspension mean that the Ioniq 6 is slightly less composed around town, but it’s rarely uncomfortable.

Specifying the RWD version with entry-level Premium trim will get you the biggest saving of £15,560. Don’t let the term ‘entry-level’ put you off though, because even the most basic Ioniq 6 comes with plenty of standard kit. That includes heated front and rear seats, dual-zone climate control and wireless phone-charging, as well as an EV heat pump.
Stepping up to top-spec Ultimate trim will save you £6500, and you get an additional head-up display, sunroof, Bose sound system upgrade and ventilated front seats.
If you can’t do without all-wheel drive, then you do have to compromise on efficiency slightly. The Ioniq 6 AWD can officially manage 322 miles on a single charge, which is around the same as what an BYD Seal AWD can do.
Opting for all-wheel drive in top-spec Ultimate trim will save you £7930.
