I like to see how economically I can drive by accelerating and braking smoothly, anticipating any hazards on the road ahead and getting into the highest gear as soon as I can.

I see no point in getting fraught and overtaking unnecessarily only to find yourself just a few cars ahead miles later. This incurs significant stress and costs.
