Face-lifted Octavia models breaks cover

Skoda has brought its Octavia vRS and Scout models into line with the rest of the face-lifted range.

The entire Octavia range received interior and engine upgrades earlier this year, but vRS and Scout versions missed out on the exterior changes that featured on other models. These have now been applied, so both now have new lights, bumpers, front wings, bonnet and front grille.

The vRS performance model retains its more aggressive appearance and, for the first time, xenon headlamps are available in conjunction with an adaptive front lighting system that adjusts its beam to follow corners.

Other new options include 'Neptune' 18-inch alloy wheels and front foglamps with a cornering function, and LED running lights.

The 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines remain unchanged.

Octvavia Scout
The Octavia Scout a rugged version of the estate continues to be available as a front-wheel drive model with a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 2.0-litre diesel engine as four-wheel drive.

The Scout gets the same revised front end as other Octavia models, but has higher ground clearance and SUV-style cladding for its bumpers and wheelarches.

Both revised models are available to order now, with deliveries starting in June. Prices are unchanged, so the vRS is available from 18,160, while the Scout starts at 18,750.
