Fiat issues prices for new diesel Bravo
* Prices start from 13,595 * Eco models have lower CO2 emissions * Available in two trims...
Fiat has added a new 1.6-litre MultiJet diesel engine to its Bravo range, and it will cost from 13,595.
The engine is available with two power outputs - 104bhp and 118bhp.
There will also be fuel-efficient Eco derivatives, which cost around 300 more than the standard model, but benefit from low-resistance tyres and reprogrammed electronics to help improve efficiency.
Eco models will use the lower-powered 104bhp engine, which emits 119g/km of carbon dioxide and manages 62.7mpg. This is compared with the 129g/km of carbon dioxide and 57.6mpg of the standard 104bhp diesel Bravo.
The 118bhp version of the 1.6-litre diesel replaces the current 118bhp 1.9-litre version. This offers better economy and emissions of 57.6mpg and 129g/km, compared with the 53.5mpg and 139g/km of the older engine.
The new engine is available in two trims: Active and Dynamic. Standard equipment on the entry-level Active trim includes anti-lock brakes, power steering, air-con, electric windows and six airbags.
Dynamic trim adds cruise control, a leather steering wheel, a hands-free telephone system and a refrigerated compartment.
