First picture: Aston Martin DBS Volante
* Fabric roof * 510bhp 6.0-litre V12 engine * On sale this autumn...
Here is the first picture of the Aston Martin DBS Volante, which will be unveiled in the metal at next week's Geneva motor show.
The car has a fabric roof that operates at the push of a button. It takes 14 seconds to go down and can function at speeds of up to 30mph.
The car is powered by Aston Martin's 510bhp 6.0-litre V12 engine, which has 420lb ft of pulling power. It has a top speed of 191mph and can blast from 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds.
A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, but buyers can opt for a six-speed semiautomatic unit.
As with the coupe version, the Volante has carbon ceramic brakes as standard. Buyers can also opt for 20-inch alloy wheels that reduce the Volante's weight by 8kg.
Aston Martin describes the car as a 2+2, saying the rear seats are for 'younger persons or extra luggage'.
A Bang & Olufsen BeoSound DBS stereo takes care of music, with 13 speakers and a system that automatically detects if the roof is up or down and adjusts the output accordingly.
