Five-year plan increases Ssangyong sales

Korean manufacturer Ssangyong has reported a rise in sales in the UK, after selling nearly 100 4x4s, Rodius MPVs and commercial vehicles last month.

Ssangyong credits the increased sales to its five-year plan: a five-year/250,000-mile warranty and five years' free servicing, now supplemented by five years' 0% finance on selected Kyron 2.7 SPR, Rexton 2.7 SPR and Rodius 270 S models.

To qualify for the 0% finance deal, buyers need a 50% deposit, which can include a vehicle traded in under the Government's scrappage scheme. Monthly payments start from £125 (Rodius 270 S manual, on the road price £14,995).
