The auction house is running a series of six public workshops across the country, designed help private buyers get to grips with every aspect of buying a car at auction. This includes understanding where auction cars come from, how an auction hall works, what to look for and how to bid.

The dates and times for the auction-awareness workshops are:

Colchester: Thursday, March 10 at 4:30 pm
Manchester: Tuesday, March 15 at 4:30 pm
Knottingley: Thursday, March 17 at 4:30 pm
Birmingham: Monday, March 21 at 12:00 noon
Glasgow: Friday, March 25 at 11:30 am
Wimbledon: Friday, April 22 at 9:30 am

There are up to 20 places at each workshop up for grabs, and it's on a first come first served basis.

If you're interested in attending contact Siobhan.Clerkin@manheim.co.uk and mention that you're a What Car? reader.
