Honda's Mugen tuner hits UK

Honda tuning firm Mugen is now selling performance parts and accessories through a select band of eight Honda dealers in the UK.
The two companies have a close relationship in Japan, but Mugen is only now starting to get off the ground in the UK following the limited run of Civic Type R Mugens.
Now, existing Type R owners can choose from a selection of parts, including forged aluminium wheels, brake upgrades, quick-shift gearbox kits and sports suspension. A range of body styling kits is also available. Parts requiring fitment will be covered for 12 months or 10,000 miles.
Parts and accessories for other models from the Honda stable will be introduced over the coming year.
The dealers involved in the programme are Avondale Honda (Midlands), Bristol Honda, Inchape Honda (South East), Brayley Honda (Home Counties), Two Mills Honda (North West), Phoenix Honda (Scotland and Borders), Ewens of Cornhill (Highlands) and Donnelly and Taggart (Northern Ireland).
