Infiniti becomes Red Bull F1 sponsor

Premium car maker Infiniti has become a sponsor of reigning Formula One world champions Red Bull.

Alliance partner Renault currently supplies F1 engines to the Red Bull team, but there are no plans to re-brand the Renault engines as Infiniti.

advertisment

'Infiniti is all about being genuine - so rebranding an engine would not have been genuine,' said Andy Palmer, senior vice president of Infiniti

Renault's logos will appear on the engine covers and drivers' visors, while Infiniti's branding will appear on the rear wing, nose and drivers' overalls for the next two seasons.
