Jaguar Land Rover is the latest manufacturer to sign up to the Motor Codes scheme on servicing and repair standards.
The service and repair code is designed to help motorists identify responsible garages, and offers a structured complaints procedure.
Of the major car makers, only Mitsubishi, Saab and Suzuki have yet to sign up to the code. More than 6500 garages are in the scheme, which also offers a free advice line and a dispute resolution service.
Bill Fennell, Jaguar Land Rover customer service director, said: 'Our sales levels continue to demonstrate the faith that motorists have in the quality of the Jaguar Land Rover product and the public scrutiny afforded by Motor Codes to our service network will serve to underline this peace of mind for our customers.'
You can find garages that have singed up to the scheme on the motorcodes.co.uk website.
