The most famous of all James Bond cars has sold at auction for 2.6 million pounds, 900,000 less than pre-sale estimates of 3.5 million.
The star of Goldfinger and Thunderball, alongside Sean Connery, the 1964 Bond DB5 is one of the most iconic of all movie cars thanks to its unusual list of optional extras.
The handy ejector seat, machine guns and rotating numberplate have all helped to make the car famous.
