The new model is 21mm longer, 10mm taller, and has a boot that's 60 litres bigger. As before the rearmost pair of seat in the seven-seater can be raised and lowered electrically.
Standard equipment includes an Intelligent Light System with bi-xenon headlamps and LED daytime running lights, privacy glass, an electric glass sunroof, air suspension and a media interface with a DAB digital radio tuner.
The GL63 AMG has flared wheelarches, 21-inch AMG alloy wheels, an AMG high-performance braking system, and an AMG sports exhaust system with two chromed twin tailpipes.
New comfort and safety features now include Crosswind Assist and Collision Prevention Assist.
