The Mini Roadster is now on sale.
The Roadster is a soft-top version of the Mini Coupe; its the first open-top two-seater in the brands history.
The Roadster is 20mm lower than the four-seat Mini Convertible. It shares its mechanical parts and most body panels with the Coupe, but has the addition of a canvas roof.
Four models will be available: The Cooper, Cooper S and Cooper S John Cooper Works all have turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engines. The Cooper SD has a 2.0-litre turbodiesel unit.
The Roadster mirrors the coupe in terms of specification, including an active rear spoiler, which rises at 50mph, and a ski-hatch through-loading system, which can be opened from either seat.
There is a premium of between 1055 and 1375 over coupe models.
