More details of Infiniti G37 Convertible

Infiniti has released more details of its new G37 Convertible, which will arrive in showrooms from September.

Prices haven't been announced yet, but two trims (GT and GT Premium) have been confirmed.

Both come lavishly equipped: GT models get 19-inch alloy wheels, a wind deflector, leather upholstery, xenon active cornering headlamps and electrically adjustable heated front seats.

There's also a sophisticated entertainment system that includes a CD player, 2GB hard drive to store music files, a USB MP3 player input, Bluetooth with voice controls and a rear-view camera.

Inifiniti's 'self-healing' Scratch Shield Paint, which repairs minor scratches using an elastic resin that flows back into shape after being damaged, also comes as standard.

Upgrading to GT Premium adds a 30GB satellite-navigation system with a 10GB music capacity, front seats that can be cooled as well as heated and an upgraded stereo system.

Both versions use a 316bhp, 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine that gives a 0-62mph time of 6.2 seconds.
