Aston Martin and design house Zagato have announced a new collaboration and concept car to be unveiled at the Villa D'Este Concours at Lake Como, Italy later this month.

The car will be unveiled on Saturday May 21, and celebrates the 50th anniversary of the famous DB4 GT Zagato the first joint-venture between the two companies that was unveiled at the London motor show in 1961,

The current project is just a working concept at this stage, but if reaction from the public at Villa D'Este is positive it will be put into production in 2012.

Like the DB4 GT, the new car is destined for the racing track and will make its debut at the Nurburgring, Germany, on May 28.
