This is the 2012 Audi Q3 2.0 TDI 140 quattro, a new entry-level version of Audi's smallest SUV. Prices start at 26,510 and it's expected to become the best-selling four-wheel drive model in the range.
Costing nearly 2500 less than the current entry-level quattro model, it's powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that develops 138bhp and 236lb ft of torque.
Average economy is 49.6mpg, with CO2 emissions of 149g/km. Efficiency is helped by an engine stop-start system and brake energy recuperation.
The Q3 2.0 TDI 140 quattro comes in SE or S- line trim. SE versions cost 26,510 and get 17-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
S line models are 2750 more expensive at 29,260. Extra kit includes 18-inch alloys, exterior and interior styling upgrades, xenon headlamps and LED daytime running lights and tail-lights.
The new entry-level Audi Q3 is set to be the range's biggest seller
Audi expects the new car to account for up to 40% of all Q3 sales in the UK.
