* New V8 engine, updated looks
Land Rover has announced full details of the updated Range Rover range, which goes on sale in mid-July.
Improvements include an all-new 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine, which uses 7.3% less fuel and emits 7% less carbon dioxide than the 4.2-litre V8 it replaces, yet provides 25% more power.
There's also a substantial makeover, with new headlights, front grille, air vents and bumpers on the outside and revised materials and design details on the inside.
The range of high-tech safety and convenience features have also been updated and there are also upgraded entertainment and satellite-navigation systems.
Prices start at £64,695 for the 3.6-litre TDV8 Vogue. Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels, a USB MP3 player interface, surround-sound stereo and satellite-navigation.
Extras on the Vogue SE include 20-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, a dual-view display that allows the driver and front passenger to look at separate functions and xenon headlights.
Top-of-the-range Autobiography models have upgraded trim inside and out, including leather headlining and luxury carpet mats.
The 5.0-litre V8 Supercharged Autobiography model tops the range at £79,995.
