New sporty trim for Toyota RAV4

Toyota has released a new sporty version of the company's 4x4 model.

The Toyota RAV4 SR180 gets an aggressive bodykit, with 18-inch alloy wheels and extended wheelarches.

Owners also get cruise control, rear parking sensors, six-speaker sound system with a six-CD autochanger, electric sunroof, dark-tinted privacy glass and Bluetooth connection as standard.

Integrated Active Drive is also included, which combines stability control, traction control and hill-start assist.

Under the bonnet, Toyota's 175bhp 2.2-litre diesel engine and six-speed manual gearbox will get the RAV4 from 0-62mph in 9.3 seconds.

Combined fuel economy is 40.4mpg and carbon dioxide emissions are 185g/km.

The RAV4 SR180 is on sale now for 23,045.
