The interior is will get upgraded materials and is likely to gain Toyotas Touch control system, which includes a touch-screen display, Bluetooth and, on higher-spec versions, sat-nav and Google search functions. ??

Chassis changes are expected, too, although Toyota hasnt confirmed exactly what these are. Engine tweaks to lower fuel consumption and emissions are also likely.

There will also be two new additions to the Prius hybrid range. The production version of the Plug-in Prius hybrid makes its debut, which Toyota says could have CO2 emissions as low as 45g/km and a range of up to 12 miles in electric mode. Its due to go on sale next year.

The production version of the Prius+ will also be at the show. It will be the first seven-seater in Europe to get hybrid power. Toyota also says that, despite the cars size, it should have CO2 emissions below 100g/km. The Prius+ will also go on sale in 2012.

A three-door version of the recently launched Yaris supermini will also be on display at Toyotas Frankfurt stand.
