The all-new Volkswagen Beetle is coming next year and our computer-generated images reveal a tougher look for the third generation of the iconic car.

Both the coupe and convertible versions of the car are in final testing now and should be on sale by late spring or early summer.
The cars are expected to get a more sporty, masculine look and will cost from around 15,000.
Beyond its retro looks the current Beetle is a pretty disappointing car, with a cramped cabin and poor driving experience. There's plenty of scope for improvement and insiders have long promised that the new car will be much more fun to drive.
