The Nissan Juke range has been given a new N-tec trim.

Based on Acenta Premium trim, N-tec includes style changes and updated equipment.

Styling-wise, the N-tec's B-pillars and door mirrors have been painted in gloss black, while the centre console and door trims get the same treatment inside the cabin.

N-tec models also come with Bluetooth, climate control, a touch-screen infotainment system, sat-nav and Nissan's Dynamic Control System, which allows the driver to select from various driving modes.

Two 1.6-litre petrol engines and a 1.5-litre diesel unit are available. The entry-level 1.6 produces 115bhp, gets from 0-60mph in 11 seconds, has average economy of 47.1mpg and emits 138g/km of CO2.

The 188bhp 1.6 DIG-T, averages 40.9mpg and has CO2 emissions of 159g/km. It is available in either front- or four-wheel drive, with either manual or a CVT transmission.

Diesel buyers get a 1.5-litre unit that produces 109bhp and has average economy of 57.6mpg and emissions of 129g/km.

Prices for the Nissan Juke N-tec start at 16,295 for the 1.6-litre petrol manual and increase to 20,000 for the 1.6 DIG-T with four-wheel-drive version with CVT transmission.
