The Nissan Juke Concept features an uprated version of the standard car's 1.6-litre engine and a stiffened chassis. Nismo hasn't revealed an exact power output.

The Tokyo show car is in Nismo's pearl white with red highlights and comes with a Nismo bodykit, which includes lower bumpers and sideskirts. The grille has been revised, as has the tailgate spoiler and door mirrors to improve aerodynamics.

Nismo president Shoichi Miyatani said: 'The future of Nismo is developing premium sports designs for an ever-widening range of customers.

'Our forthcoming range of cars will be just as accessible and innovative as every Nissan, but with added Nismo energy. They will be ever-more fun to own and drive.'
