Pictured: face-lifted Mazda MX-5

This is the face-lifted Mazda MX-5, which will go on sale in early 2009.

Although few details have been released, the face-lift appears to be mild, with changes focussing on the front end of the car and including new black fog light surrounds and a new front splitter.

The current 1.8- and 2.0-litre engines will not be changed.

The face-lifted car will be unveiled in the metal at the Paris motor show on October 2.
