Readers review the 2013 Renault Captur

We gave What Car? readers an early opportunity check out the Renault Captur at an exclusive event at our Middlesex HQ and here they give their verdict on the new baby SUV

advertisment

The Captur is essentially a high-riding Clio, which takes styling cues from the new hatchback and mixes them with MPV and crossover proportions.

Its more practical than the Clio, thanks to the raised ride height, and has significantly more space in the cabin and the boot. The load space can be increased further because the rear bench slides forward with 60/40 split-folding seatbacks.

Renault hopes that the mix of crossover capability and hatchback handling will draw buyers into the showroom but what do our readers think?
