Readers test 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class contains a whole host of new technology, with the company claiming it is the most advanced car ever to go on sale.

To put Merc's claim to the test, we unleashed a set of demanding current and potential owners on the new car, in the form of a What Car? Reader Test Team.

Despite an increase in technology, which brings improvements in efficiency, comfort and connectivity, the new car costs only 1210 more than the outgoing model.

So, is the improved equipment and revised interior enough to attract a new generation of traditionally demanding buyers to the new Mercedes limousine?
