The new Renault Clio RS 200 will come to the UK in June.
Power is provided by a new 1.6-litre turbocharged engine thats mated to a dual-clutch semi-automatic gearbox.
On the exterior, changes have been made to the grille, spoiler and front and rear bumpers to give a more aggressive stance and sportier look. Wider LED lights, sill extensions and a twin-pipe exhaust also help to differentiate the RS from the standard car. It gets 17-inch alloys as standard, while 18-inchers are available as an option.
Inside, the RS gets bucket seats, touch-screen sat-nav, Bluetooth and keyless entry and start. Automatic climate control and parking sensors are available as options.
As with other Renaultsport models, two chassis options are available. The standard car gets a Sport set-up, while the Cup chassis is available as an option. The latter is 15% stiffer than the Sport set-up and has also been lowered by 3mm.
The Clio RS does 0-60mph in 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 143mph. Average economy is a claimed 44.8mpg, while CO2 emissions are 144g/km.
UK pricing will be confirmed at the end of February. However, in France the Clio RS will cost from 24,990, which is around 21,500. It is expected that UK prices will be lower. Order books open in April and UK deliveries will start in June.
