Rooney not fronting Mercedes

Contrary to recent reports, footballer Wayne Rooney has not become a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz.

Its a good job considering 88% of Whatcar.com readers thought that Rooney and Mercedes made a rather odd couple.

Apologies to Mercedes-Benz which is, in fact, represented by German Playboy model Eva Padberg.

Next week Nissan is not going to announce that Ray Mears is the next front man for the Micra C+C.
