Seat's Eco models get 'E' branding

Seat is to rebrand the cleanest of its Ecomotive models with an extra 'E'.

The cars with the lowest CO2 rating and best average economy will be called E Ecomotive.

Seat's new naming system is similar to sister-company Volkswagen's approach with its Bluemotion range.

VW uses the Bluemotion name to highlight the cleanest cars from its ranges and Bluemotion Technology to denote the next best.

Seat has decided to change the branding to mark the arrival of its latest 92g/km Ibiza supermini.
