Sporty new Fiesta S1600 revealed

This is the Ford Fiesta S1600, but buyers will have to be quick because just 650 examples of the sporty limited edition will be built.
The S1600 is based on the Fiesta Zetec S and continues a bloodline of hot Fiestas such as the XR2, XR2i, Si, RS and ST.
Sporty styling
This latest version comes with a new, aggressive-looking front bumper, extended sideskirts, large rear spoiler, rear diffuser and 17-inch white alloys (16-inch on diesel models). The exterior is finished in Frozen White or Performance Blue paint, with contrasting motorsport-style stripes.
Performance
The S1600 is powered by a 118bhp 1.6-litre Duratec Ti-VCT petrol engine, which can be boosted by 20bhp with an optional tuning package from Mountune. Diesel buyers get the 94bhp 1.6 Duratorq TDCi unit.
Interior
The Fiesta S1600 interior adds heated leather sports seats with standard side-airbags, leather steering wheel, handbrake cover and gearknob, plus branded floor mats and scuff plates.
