The i20 Blue is based on the 1.4 CRDI Comfort version. At 13,195 it's 950 more than the standard car but improves average economy by 9.1mpg.

To achieve its low emissions and high economy, the i20 Blue has Hyundai's stop-start system 'ISG' low-rolling-resistance tyres and some aerodynamic modifications.

Standard equipment includes alloy wheels, Bluetooth, electric door mirrors, air-conditioning and steering wheel-mounted controls.

The i20 Blue is on sale now.

i30 Blue?
The i20 Blue is the second Hyundai following on from the i10 Blue to drop below the 100g/km CO2 mark. While there are no plans at the moment to launch a sub-100g/km i30 Blue, a Hyundai spokesman confirmed it 'was a possibility'.
