Top 10: most reliable family cars-revealed
Warranty Direct has named the UK's most and least reliable family cars after analysing data from its Reliability Index, which is based on data from more than 50,000 policies...
4. Honda Accord (08 - 15)
An expensive car when new, the Accord makes much more sense as a used buy due to its solid build quality and impressive reliability. The 2.2 i-DTEC engine was one of the best diesels of its era.

3. Mercedes CLC (08 - 11)
The Mercedes CLC might be reliable enough to be ranked third by Warranty Direct, but it's let down by a jiggly ride, poor handling and an interior that feels distinctly cheap. On the up side, it's surprisingly practical for a three-door hatchback.

2. Honda Insight (09 - 14)
The Insight was Honda's answer to the Toyota Prius, but while it's even more reliable, it's also noisy and painfully slow. It suffers from a lumpy ride, too, and the steering is both quick to respond and very light, a combination that can be unnerving.
