Transport transparency on new website

Want to know what the Government is doing to ease congestion, cut CO2 emissions and make our roads safer? Then its new Transparency website is the place to head, according to David Cameron.

All Government departments have been made to publish their business plans, and a timetable of when goals will be achieved on the website.

Each department will have to produce a monthly progress report - and the secretary of state will have to account to the prime minister if they are not meeting targets.
