VW group sets out Geneva stand

Volkswagen has revealed seven cars from across its group at a preview event in Geneva tonight.

The main attraction was the new Volkswagen Polo, but there were plenty other cars jockeying for the limelight.

First on stage was a one-off Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire. It's the company's 100th anniversary this year, and to celebrate it has built this single model.

Little else was revealed about the car, other than it will be shown at various events throughout the year, no doubt pushing its price up along the way.

Next up was the new Audi A4 Allroad, then the Bentley Continental Superspeed and we'll have the full details on these cars in our full show report on Tuesday.

Lamborghini then revealed it's answer to the Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The LMP 670-4SV is 60kg lighter than a 'standard' car which helps it achieve a 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds. Order books open in May but production is limited to just 350 cars.

Seat showed off its Exeo estate, while Skoda unveiled its Yeti 4x4. It will be available in two- and four-wheel-drive and will come with two petrol engines and three diesels, starting with a 105bhp 1.2 petrol.
