VW Tiguan R Line announced
* Aggressive styling upgrades * Prices from 24,635 * On sale from June...

Volkswagen has created a new version of its Tiguan SUV that has the looks to match its sporty handling.
The R Line model is based on Sport trim, but has a bold bodykit for a more aggressive look. Body-coloured bumper and sill extensions give it a lower stance, while 19-inch alloy wheels are framed by wheelarch extensions. A tailgate spoiler and rear diffuser complete the external makeover.
Inside, there's a flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel, sports seats, aluminium pedals and trim, plus two-zone climate control.
R Line trim can be combined with the Tiguan's 138 and 168bhp 2.0-litre diesel engines, and the 197bhp 2.0 TSI petrol. Five exterior colours white, silver, black, blue or grey are available.
The R Line model goes on sale in June. Prices start at 24,635, which is a 1895 premium over the Sport model.
