Four What Car? readers have the answer because they were invited to witness one of the tests at the Millbrook Proving Ground in June.
The Kia Sorento went on to be awarded the full five-star rating, while our readers discovered what its like when a car is hurled into a honeycomb aluminium block at 40mph a few metres away.
