What should I look for in a used Vauxhall Insignia?

The Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport is a rather large car and thick roof pillars obstruct the view over your shoulder. This can hinder parking, especially in tight spaces. Parking sensors were an option, so look out for any scuffs to bumpers if the car you're looking at isn’t equipped with them.

Some of the larger alloy wheels fitted to models with bigger engines can be susceptible to kerb damage. Again, check for any blemishes – especially to the optional 20in diamond-cut wheels – because they can start to corrode if road salt reacts with the exposed metal.
