Join What Car? for an exclusive preview of the new Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport on Monday 6 March in Feltham, west London.

The Insignia Grand Sport is the second-generation version of Vauxhall's executive hatchback, which is hugely popular with company car drivers. It's expected to cost from around £18,000, with customer deliveries commencing in June.

Soon after it is launched, the Grand Sport will be joined by a new Insignia Tourer estate and its more ruggedly styled sister, the Insignia Cross Tourer.

The Insignia Grand Sport, a rival to the Ford Mondeo and Skoda Superb, is a much more stylish proposition than its predecessor and promises a roomier, classier interior with more modern infotainment.

The engine range consists of turbocharged 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre petrol units, plus 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre diesels. The Insignia Grand Sport comes with either an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual gearbox and either front or four-wheel drive, depending on engine.
