Audi A1 up for grabs at charity auction

Guests at the annual Press Club Ball will get the chance to bid for a new Audi A1 before the car goes on sale.

The Press Club Ball will be held on October 14, with proceeds going to the Journalists' Charity, an organisation that spends about a million pounds a year giving grants to journalists in need, and running residential care homes.

BBC journalist Kate Silverton will host the evening, while Who wants to be a millionaire's Chris Tarrant will present the charity auction, where an A1 donated by Audi will be the star lot.

The premium supermini won't go on sale in the UK until November.
