Deal of the Day: Lease an Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica from £270 per month

Named after a fun, compact and accessible model from the 1960s, the Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica promises driving thrills – and we’re pleased to report that it delivers. Indeed, the Italian brand is known for its sporty heritage, and its first electric SUV doesn’t disappoint when it comes to pure fun.
So, if that all sounds good to you, then you might be pleased to hear that you can put a Junior Elettrica on your driveway for as little as £270 per month with our leasing deals.
To do that, you’ll need to opt for a 24-month contract with an annual mileage limit of 5000 miles, and an initial payment of £3238.44. The annual 5000 mile restriction isn’t a huge allowance, so you’ll have to be careful to avoid excess mileage charges.
If you regularly cover more miles, you could opt for a more common 36-month, 10,000-mile agreement with six months initial rental (£2362.38), which will cost £393.73 per month.

Just one battery option comes with the Junior Elettrica: a 50.8kWh (usable capacity) unit, which can also be found in the closely-related Jeep Avenger Electric and Peugeot e-2008. However, where the Junior Elettrica stands out is with its option to upgrade to a more powerful electric motor.
Most versions of the Junior get a 154bhp power output – but our Deal of the Day spotlights the range-topping Veloce, which is specifically engineered with an aim to deliver the driving fun Alfa Romeo is known for and pumps out 278bhp.
The Veloce gets a number of racier elements, including a mechanical limited-slip differential (LSD) to maximise traction, a faster steering rack, 25mm lower suspension, a wider track (the distance between the wheels left to right), stiffer front and rear anti-roll bars to limit body lean, bigger brake discs and 20in alloy wheels.
All those features combined make the Junior Elettrica Veloce a real joy to drive, with quick steering, well-contained body lean and nimble handling.
Inside, the Junior Elettrica comes with comfy, supportive seats and a low-slung sport driving position. A 10.3in driver’s display sits alongside a 10.3in infotainment touchscreen, which isn’t the most responsive or very well laid-out, but at least you get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay fit as standard.
Another strong area for the Junior Elettrica is practicality, offering 400 litres of boot space, which outdoes plenty of rivals such as the Cupra Born or Smart #1. There’s plenty of room for a weekly shop or several carry-on suitcases.
