2018 Audi SQ7 Vorsprung review – price, specs and release date

As you'll have already read, the Audi Q7 is itself a fine luxury SUV with seven seats, but how would you make it even better? Why, by fitting a 429bhp 4.0-litre V8 diesel engine under the bonnet, of course. The result is the SQ7, which offers eye-opening performance but carries over the regular Q7's high-quality interior and quiet manners. If you're planning a continent-crossing road trip, this is the car in which to do it.

Land Rover Discovery

The latest Discovery is a real triumph. It's spacious and comfortable inside, and pretty much nothing else on this list can match its off-road prowess. It's not ideally suited to the city and steering it around tight streets requires a fair bit of arm work, but it is supremely comfortable and the engines are quiet. We'd match the TD6 diesel engine with mid-range HSE specification.
