Geneva 2012: Ford Focus Electric

The Ford Focus Electric has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show and will go on sale next year.

The electric Focus is powered by a 23kW lithium-ion battery pack, will have a range of 100 miles and can be fully charged within four hours, says Ford.

Few other details of the car have been revealed, but Ford says the car will share 'much of the steering, handling and braking feel' of the standard car.

Visitors to the 2012 Geneva motor show will have the chance to drive the electric Focus, as well as try out Ford's SYNC infotainment connectivity system.
