Honda Jazz ES Plus launched

This is the Honda Jazz ES Plus, a new trim level designed to make the popular supermini a better-value proposition against fresher rivals, including the recently launched Nissan Note.

advertisment

The Jazz ES Plus is available with Honda's 1.4-litre petrol engine. It replaces the regular ES in the line-up but brings more standard equipment over that model, including 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, privacy glass, a driver's front armrest and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearknob.

The on-the-road price of the ES Plus is 14,495, making it the cheapest Jazz with a 1.4-litre engine. By comparison, the slightly more powerful 1.2-litre supercharged version of the Nissan Note starts at 14,250.

Honda is timing the launch of the new model to coincide with deposit contributions of up to 1000, finance offers and a four-year service plan that's available for 399. The offers will run until the end of September; the Jazz ES Plus is available to order now.
