According to Hyundai, the i-flow has 'numerous new technologies from chemical company BASF, ranging from innovative lightweight materials to solar cells, to reduce weight and improve energy efficiency.'

Stablemate Kia revealed its Ray concept car earlier this week, which has solar panels embedded in the glass roof panel to power extra lighting or the climate control system.

Last year, Hyundai's designers told us that the all-new model 'will sell on its looks' and this concept car certainly looks striking.

More details will be announced ahead of the car's unveiling at the Geneva motor show next month.
